Fire prevention by SOD
The above newspaper article in Japanese reports that facsimaile machines manufactured by Brother Industries., Ltd. caught four fires between September 2000 and Novemmber 2005.
The fire was caused by cats' pee and the standingby electricity, they said.
The fires should have been prevented by stopping the standingby electricity using SOD.
