我が町の桜 Cherry blossoms in our city

尾道の桜と言えば千光寺の桜ですが、日本中には多くの桜の木があります。

今年も桜の花の開花宣言は多くの場所で出されましたが、その後の低気温で、今日現在も満開にほど遠い状態のものが多いです。

写真は新幹線尾道駅北口の小さな桜木の花ですが、我が家の桜よりは開花度は大きいです。

The cherry blossoms in Onomichi have been referred to the ones at Senkoji Temple, but there are very many cherry trees throughout Japan.

This year, the cherry blossoms were declared to be in bloom in many places, but due to the low temperatures that followed, many of them are still far from being in full bloom as of today.

The photo shows the blossoms on a small cherry tree at the north exit of New Onomichi Shinkansen Station, and the degree of bloom is greater than that of our garden.
