アフリカの友人　Friends in Africa

15年ほど前に5年間ほど、アフリカ中央東部経済圏のケニア、ウガンダ、タンザニア、ルワンダ、スーダンの各国大使との交流、相互訪問、技術＆ビジネス紹介に携わっていました。（添付写真参照）

第5回アフリカ開発支援国際会議（TICAD5）の会議の後に政府民間合同貿易促進視察でこれらの国々を訪問した時に知り合った駐日ケニア大使の友人が国際的なSNSでの私の発信内容（＊「ひまわり発電所」に関すること）に関心を寄せてくれましたので、メールを送りましたら、以下のようなメール返信してくれました。

これまでの地球環境に負荷をかける大規模発電と送電でなく、これとは真逆の「ひまわり発電所」に、アフリカでも関心を持ってもらえれば嬉しいです。

I was involved in exchanges, reciprocal visits and technical & business introductions with the ambassadors of Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Sudan in the Central Eastern African Economic Zone for about 5 years about 15 years ago.

A friend of the Kenyan Ambassador to Japan (*), whom I met when I visited these countries on a joint government-private sector trade promotion tour after a meeting of the 5^th International Conference on Supporting African Development (TICAD 5), was interested in what I was posting on international social networking sites (*, regarding the Sunflower Power Station), so I sent him a email, to which he send my his return e-mail saying as follows.

I would be happy if Africa would be interested in the “Sunflower Power Station”, which is the opposite of the conventional large-scale power generation and transmission of electricity, which is a burden on the global environment.
