エアコンと冷蔵庫　　Air conditioner and fridge

先週、我家の家電製品2つに動きがありました。

一つはエアコン。購入後10年を経過して初めての掃除のプロによる掃除をしてもらいました。その結果、自動掃除機能に異常が見つかり、その部分を交換してもらう予定です。夏からもしっかりと働いてもらいましょう。

他の一つは購入後20年の冷蔵庫。床に水が漏れ出る症状がありましたので完全に壊れる前に買い替えました。使い慣れたデザインで、コンプレッサー性能の良い同じ会社の製品です。

いずれも高騰するサービス料金や物価高のために出費額は小さくありません。

Last week there were changes to two appliances in our household.

One was the air conditioner. We had it professionally cleaned for the first time in the 10 years since we bought it. They found something wrong with the automatic cleaning function and we will have that part replaced. We hope it will work fine from the summer onwards.

The other was a fridge that was 20 years old. It was showing signs of leaking water onto the floor, so we replaced it before it broke down completely. It is a product of the same company with a familiar design and good compressor performance.

Both of these costs are not small with recent rising service charges and high prices.
