音楽とコンサート準備 Music and concert preparation

先日、3月1日に参拝、面会いただいた西光禅寺のご住職、檀上和尚さんのバースデーコンサートにお招きいただき、来週、ギターで数曲を弾かせていただきます。今回が2度目です。

今回予定しているのは以下の3曲です。

１．ジェラシー（タンゴ、ヤコブ・ゲーゼ作曲）

２．故　郷（唱歌、岡野貞一作曲）

３．アルハンブラの思い出（クラシックギター曲、F.タレガ作曲）

高校生の時に始めたクラシックギターですが、社会人となってしばらくは縁遠くなっていました。

定年年齢に達した時に福山のギタークラブに入れていただき、練習と演奏を再開しましたが、その後、今ではほぼ毎日、ギターに触れています。

I have been invited to play some guitar pieces next week at the birthday concert of Priest Danjo, the head priest of Saikouzenji Temple, whom I visited and met on 1st March. This is the second time I play for them.

I will play the following three pieces.

1. Jealousy (a tango music by Jacob Gade)

2. Hometown (Shoka, composed by Teiichi Okano)

3. Memories of the Alhambra (a classical guitar piece by F. Talega)

I started playing classical guitar when I was in high school, but took a break for a while after I started working.

When I retired, I joined a guitar club in Fukuyama and resumed practicing and playing. Since then, I have been in touch with the guitar almost every day.

My performances have been uploaded to You Tube and posted on the above website page.
