蝉の短い夏　A short summer of cicadas

毎日、炎天下で暑い、暑いと言っている間に、早朝散歩時の日の出の時間がだいぶ遅くなりました。

気温も25度を下回ってきました。

我が家の周りには一生を終えた蝉たちの姿をあちこちで見かけますが、今日はその悲しい姿よりも、彼らが誕生した痕跡、我が家の庭から今年生まれた蝉たちの抜け殻「空蝉（うつせみ）」をご紹介します。

While we are talking about hot, hot weather every day, the time of sunrise during early morning walks has become much later.

The temperature has dropped below 25 degrees Celsius.

We see the dead cicadas here and there around our house, but today, rather than their sad appearance, I would like to introduce you to the traces of their birth, the "empty shells" of the cicadas born this year in our yard.
