ヒーター、エアコンの季節　　Heater and air conditioner season

11月になりました。

朝の気温が室内でも15度℃以下となる日が多くなります。

今年の秋はいつもより暖かいとの予報ですが、冬への対策の第一段階は足元のスポット暖房です。

また、庭の片隅にある日曜大工部屋兼簡単な科学実験室には2年前にペール缶で作ったロケットストーブを設置しました。（炎写真は昨シーズンのもの。）

ペール缶の鉄板は薄いために、錆びで穴が空きやすく、数シーズンで取り替えますが、原材料費は無料です。

It being November today, morning temperatures are now often below 15 degrees Celsius (59 degrees Fahrenheit) even indoors.

This fall is forecast to be warmer than usual, but the first step to prepare for winter is spot heating for our feet.

I have also reinstalled a rocket stove made from a pail two years ago in my DIY room, which is also a simple science lab, in a corner of the garden. (Flame photo from last season.)

The steel plate of the pail is thin and easily perforated by rust, so it should be replaced after a few seasons, but the cost of raw materials is free.
