イチゴの季節　　Strawberry Season

イチゴは露地栽培では、4月に花が咲いて5～6月に実ります。

5月くらいから初夏がイチゴの季節です。

しかし、品種改良や、ハウス栽培の技術が向上し、12月後半からイチゴを食べることができるようになり、今では一年中見かけます。

季節感は失われています。

一方、野イチゴは毎年この時期、6月にその赤い実をつけます。

写真は我が家の近くの石垣などで毎年、この時期に見かける野イチゴ（直径2センチほど）で6月24日に撮りました。

In outdoor cultivation, strawberries bloom in April and bear fruit in May and June.

From about May to early summer is the strawberry season.

However, with improved breeding and greenhouse cultivation techniques, strawberries are now available from late December and can be found all year round.

Its seasonality has been lost.

But the wild strawberries bear their red berries every year at this time, in June.

The photo was taken on June 24 of wild strawberries (about 2 cm in diameter) found on a stone wall near our house in this period every year.
