ツツジ、サツキの剪定　Pruning of azaleas

次の年も花をきれいに咲かすためには5月と6月が剪定時期、とのことです。

我が家では垣根にしているこれらの木々ですが、大部分は10センチから20センチほど刈り込み、大きくなり過ぎた入り口近くの木々は半分以下の高さに大きく切りました。

後者は木の幹だけになり、元の面影はなくなりましたが、数年もすれば再度、きれいな花が咲くでしょう。

They say that May and June are the best pruning months to keep the flowers blooming beautifully for the next year.

We use these trees as hedges in our garden, and we trimmed most of them by 10 t0 20 centimeters and cut the overgrown trees near the entrance to less than half their original height.

The latter have lost their original appearance, but in a few years, they will bloom beautifully again.
