寒い日の薪ストーブ　　Wood stove on cold days

ここ数日、尾道も真冬の天候になっています。

曇り、雨、雪模様の寒い日には薪ストーブが最適です。

昨年作った自作の簡単・安価なストーブですが、今回、排気する熱い空気の量を調節する簡単な仕掛けをしました。

燃焼状態を見ながら金属板を煙突に空けたスリットに差し込むだけです。

これで部屋の中をより効率的に余分な煙を充満させずに暖房できます。

The weather has now been mid-winter for the past few days here in Onomichi.

On cold, cloudy, rainy, or snowy days, a wood-burning stove is the perfect solution.

I made this simple and inexpensive stove last year, but this time I added a simple device to adjust the amount of hot air exhausted into the chimney.

I simply insert a metal plate into the slit in the chimney while watching the combustion.

This allows me to heat a room more efficiently without filling the room with stuffy smoke.
