自動（待機電力）節電方法　　　Automatic (standby) power saving

電気製品はプラグをコンセントに差した状態では待機電力を消費し続け、その量は全電力消費量の4～6%です。
プラグを抜かなくてもプラグを抜いた状態と同じ状態にでき、電気を使う必要性が生じた時だけ電気を供給できる状態に自動的にするのが節電虫（SOD、スイッチング装置、技術、1996年省エネ大賞受賞）です。
エネルギー問題の根本的解決方法の一つが私たち自身の自覚と行動であることは明らかです。
節電の必要性はこれからも永遠になくなりません。
私は現在、2台の回線電話機の待機電力を一日24時間、節電し続けています。
