梅雨の合間の一人eバイク巡り　　Independent e-bike tour during a break in the rainy season

昨日16日（木）は梅雨入り後の晴れ間に恵まれたので、少し蒸し暑かったですが、eバイクで向島の南側の干汐と因島大橋の大浜パーキングエリアの間を往復してみました。

途中で友人が勤務していた広島大学の臨海実験所、昭和15年（1940年）に日本一の長寿村となった立花村を通り、走行往復距離は14キロ弱でした。

大橋に付属している自転車道と歩道は自動車道の下側で日陰になっており、しかも海風があり快適なサイクリングでした。

対岸の因島の大浜で目当てのソフトクリームは540円で高価でしたが、おいしかったです。

Yesterday, Thursday the 16th, we were blessed with fine weather after the rainy season started though it was a bit hot and humid, but I made a round trip on my e-bike between the southern side of Mukojima Island and the Ohama parking area of the Innoshima Ohashi Bridge.

On the way, I passed by the seaside experimental station of Hiroshima University, where a friend of mine used to work, and Tachibana Village, which became the most long-lived village in Japan in 1940.

The round trip distance was a little less than 14 km.

The bicycle path and footpath attached below the Ohashi Bridge were shaded by the upper motorway, and the sea breeze made the ride comfortable.

The soft-serve ice cream I wanted at Ohama on Innoshima Island on the other side of the island was expensive at 540 yen, but it was delicious.
