大敗北　　Badly defeated

ご存じの通り、昨日の横浜市長選挙では大臣を辞職し、菅総理大臣が支援した候補者が大敗した。

首相が国民の命を守るためのコロナ対策ではなく自分自身の再選を第一優先している姿勢を有権者に見透かされた結果です。

In yesterday's Yokohama mayoral election in Japan, the candidate who resigned from his post as a cabinet minister and was supported by Prime Minister Suga lost badly.

This is the result of the voters seeing through the Prime Minister's attitude that his first priority is his own re-election in the party president election instead of the measures against COVID-19 to protect the lives of the people.
