コロナウイルスで中断継続、面接試験委員登録ボランティア支援作業　Continued suspension of supporting work on registration of the STEP 2nd stage interview examiners

英検１級（＆同格）者ネットワーク（https://www.office-ktk.jp/英検%EF%BC%91級者ネット/）ではボランティア作業の面接試験委員登録支援を12月から中断していますが、その中断開始時期は中国でのCovid-19発生・感染と重なっています。
そして、その後の世界的な感染の拡がりはご承知の通りです。
面接試験委員登録支援作業には有資格者である被支援希望者とネットワーク登録メンバーとの直接の面接が必要で、このようなCovid-19状況の中では接触感染の恐れもあります。
このためこの登録支援作業はCovid-19終息宣言が出るまでは中断を継続します。
2020東京オリンピックのように単なる見込みで支援ボランティア作業を再開することは決してありません。
現時点で待機いただいている方々には申し訳ありませんがご理解をお願いします。
The supporting volunteer work by STEP 1st graders’ (& Equiv.) Network in Japan has been suspended since last December, when the Covid-19 infection broke out in China.
The worldwide spread of the disease since then is well known.
The registration supporting work requires the direct interview meetings in person between the qualified people and our members so that there is some possibility of the Covid-19 infection.
That’s why this volunteer supporting work must be suspended until the end of infection is declared.
We never reopen the supporting work only in expectation of the end of infection like the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
I hope those on the waiting list would understand this situation.
