シニアの集いへ音楽の出前　Music delivery to seniors’ gatherings

先月1月、今月2月と連続で定期的に開かれている近くの集いに初めて顔を出してみました。
かつて英語塾の生徒さんだった女性が事務局作業を行っており、なつかしく会話を交わすこともできました。
集いは4、5名のスタッフの方々で運営、維持されていますが、担当者は毎回のプログラム作りに工夫、苦労されているようです。
今月は妻が太極拳の初歩的な一部を初めて紹介し皆さんと一緒に体を動かして楽しんでいただきました。
今後、継続的にプログラムに入れられるでしょう。
音楽もプログラムの一つとしてこのような集いの役に立てますので私もボランティアで毎月数曲をギター演奏し、一緒に時間を過ごせてもらえるように先日、準備の打ち合わせを担当者の方と行い、来月3月からの開始を決定しました。
4、5年分の演奏レパートリーは大丈夫です。

Last month in January and this month in February I put in my first and second appearances at the seniors’ gatherings held nearby periodically.
I could fondly enjoy talking to a female secretariat who used to be one of my students at my English school.
The gatherings have been programmed and carried out by several staffs, but they seem to have some difficulties in making programs each time.
This month my wife showed the very first part of Tai Chi for the first time and all the participants enjoyed moving their bodies.
The other day I had a preparatory talk to play the guitar voluntarily there for them to have happy time together, making a decision to start this music program next month in March.
My repertory available would be enough for several years.
