大学入試への英語民間試験導入の混乱(1)　Chaos caused by the private sector English test introduction to university exams(1)

民間英語試験業者による一握りの人間が多人数学生の幅広く深い語学能力を一斉に評価できると思っていること自体が間違いです。
間違いを強行しようとすれば混乱が生じます。
私たちの語学能力を総合的かつ最終的に評価するのは私たちが所属する社会や会社です。
入学試験で学校や民間英語試験業者ができるのは学生の英語技能を入学時点でそれぞれ異なった基準で一時的に仮に評価するに過ぎません。
評価される人はいつでもその評価を覆すこと、能力を高めることは可能ですから長い人生の単なる一段階で評価された能力結果に一喜一憂する必要はありません。
It is wrong to think that a small number of people from the private English test companies can evaluate all together a large number of students’ language abilities that are broad and deep.
It could cause a chaos to go ahead with the wrong testing methods.
It is our society or companies that judge our language abilities comprehensively and finally.
What schools or private English testing companies can do is to evaluate the students’language skills only at the point of entrance temporally using their different evaluation standards.
The students can brush up their skills at any time later so that they don’t have to react nervously to the evaluated results only at one stage of their long life.
