40数年ぶりの再会　Reunion for the first time in 40 some years

フェイスブック経由でひさし振りにアメリカの友人とめぐり合いました。
日系アメリカ人のマイク・アマノ氏で私がサンディエゴ州立大学（SDSU）にいた1976～1977年に会い、その数年後にもアメリカ旅行中、サンディエゴに立ち寄って会っていた人です。
この種のことはネット時代の今日ではめずらしい出来事ではないのかもしれませんが、私にとってはビッグでハッピーな出来事です。
添付写真は1977年撮影のSDSUでの私の写真です。
ちなみに、40年前の日本－アメリカ国際電話料金は3分で五千（5,000）円でした。
He is Mr. M. Amano, a Japanese American I met firstly when I was in San Diego State University in 1976 – 1977 and secondary when I traveled there again a few years after that.
This kind of thing may not be rare in this Internet age, but as for me it is a big and happy one.
The attached is a picture of me taken in SDSU campus in 1977.

For further information, 40 years ago it cost me $50 for 3 minute telephone call between JAPAN and USA.
