猛暑日、少なければ少ないほど良い。 The less extremely hot days we have, the better it is.

昨日、気象予報士が夏の日々の暑さ（最高温度）と3つの呼び方について解説していました。
これは気象庁のホームページで気温に関する気象用語で規定されています。
添付写真の通り、5度きざみの細かな表現、日本的ですね。
40度以上の日の呼び方がまだ無いようですが、無くて過ごせればその方がいいです。
Meteorological names of days in summer:
Yesterday a weather forecaster was explaining about 3 day names depending on hotness (daytime high) in summer.
They are defined as meteorological terms by Japan Meteorological Agency.
We have 3 names every 5 degrees over 25 ℃ as shown in the attached picture. 
We still don’t have a name for days whose daytime high is 40 or more degrees and I wish we will not have such hot days if possible.
