高槻市　Takatsuki city

一昨日6月18日の地震の震源地、被災地として連日報道されています。
この町は私の社会人としてのスタートを切った町でもあります。
東洋紡に入社直後、新人研修を高槻市にあった中央研修所で受け、染色をはじめとした繊維加工技術及び高分子関係の研究員としての勤務を高槻加工技術研究所で28歳まで過ごした町です。
わずか3週間弱の今月6月2日には研究所仲間との10回目の同窓会を高槻市で行ったばかりで、会社時代からの最も親しい友人も高槻市に住んでいます。
友人にはメールと電話で安否を尋ねましたが、大きなダメージはなかったようで安心したのが昨日です。
早い復興を心から祈っています。

I started my life as a member of society in this city.
Directly after entering TOYOBO Co. Ltd. I got an orientation for new employees and worked for its technology institute in Takatsuki city as a research staff for textile dyeing and processing as well as polymer synthesizing until the age of 28.
Only a little less than 3 weeks on June 2nd, we had the 10th company reunion party with the business associates and one of good friends of mine has lived there.
It is only yesterday that I found his family is fine though they had some damage inside the house.
I pray with all my heart for their early reconstruction.
