光陰矢の如し。 Time flies.

22年前の今日、1996年6月13日：
NHK東京の科学部からの取材班が節電技術の取材のために尾道の私の事務所に向かっていました。
また、この日の午前中には福岡空港でガルーダインドネシア航空が離陸事故を起こしました。
そこで、NHKの取材記者、本保氏は新幹線から電話で、予定を変更して尾道を通過して福岡の航空機事故の取材になる、と私に告げてきました。
このため、私の事務所での取材は予定より約2か月遅れましたが、1996年8月23日に取材内容は以下の通り放送されました。

On this day 22 years ago, June 13, 1996:
A scientific group of NHK Tokyo was heading for my office in Onomichi to cover the electricity saving technology.
On the other hand, an airplane of P.T. Garuda Indonesia had a takeoff accident at Fukuoka Airport in the morning on the same day. 
Then, Mr. Honbo, a chief news reporter, called me from in the Shinkansen bullet train, telling me he would pass Onomichi to cover the airplane accident first.
Because of this the coverage by NHK Tokyo was delayed about 2 months, but the covered content in my office was aired on August 23, 1996.
