ナイル（川）源流 　Source of the River Nile

パスポート更新：
現在のビザは2008年の第4回アフリカ開発東京会議（5年毎開催）の後に行われた官民合同でのアフリカ視察時に、ウガンダ入国のためのパスポート残存有効期間が足りず、外務省の特別な計らいで緊急に発給してもらった時の思い出のパスポートです。
この有効期間がもうすぐ切れますのでこの度、何度目かの新しいパスポートを申請する予定で、この夏に孫たちとの海外旅行に使うつもりです。
パスポート取得は40年ほど前に比べれば、随分と手続きが容易になりました。

New visa:
I have got the current passport when I joined the business inspection tour to Africa after TICAD IV in 2008, which is held every 5 years, and the tour was carried out jointly by governments and private sectors.
This passport is a special one for me because it was issued in haste thanks to a special favor by Foreign Ministry. The remaining valid period of the old one was not long enough to enter Uganda at that time.
I am to have my umpteenth passport renewed soon for my overseas trip with our grandchildren in coming summer.
The passport application procedure has been much easier now compared to what it was about 40 years ago.
