アメリカからの友人訪問 A friend from USA

2001年の台北でのアジア生産性機構の国際フォーラムのパネラーの一人で、その後、お互いに情報交換を続けている友人がアメリカ・シカゴから突然、今日と明日、尾道に私を訪ねてくれる。

明日の京都での私たちの協議予定の前に足を延ばしてくれるとのことです。
暑いし、またこの時期の広島は原爆記念行事などのために混雑するので、広島には行かず、尾道だけを少し紹介するつもりです。
He visits me today, a little bit suddenly. He and I got acquainted to each other at the APO Forum in Taipei in 2001, when he was one of the Forum panelists. Since then we have been friends, exchanging various information mutually.
He would like to see me before our planned business meeting in Kyoto tomorrow.
It is very hot and crowded in Hiroshima due to the atomic bomb memorial events so that I will show him only Onomichi, not visiting Hiroshima.
