枚方、高槻　Hirakata and Takatsuki cities

明日、5月17日、枚方市にご縁があってある会社を訪問します。
分光分析装置では世界でも50％以上のシェアを誇る機種を生産、販売し、グローバルニッチ100社にも選定されている会社です。
彼らの技術はサイエンスやネイチャーにも紹介され、今年4月には中小企業優秀新技術・新製品賞も受賞している会社です。
ちなみに、実は私も16年前、2001年に中小企業優秀新技術・新製品賞を受賞しています。

この会社への訪問後は隣の高槻市に移動して元東洋紡研究員同僚との懇親会です。
両方を大変楽しみにしています。
Tomorrow on May 17 I am to visit a company in Hirakata city, with which I have some connection.
The company develops and sells spectroscopic analyzers and some of their products share more than 50% all over the world. They are one of the 100 global niche companies as well.
Their technologies have been introduced in Science and Nature Magazines and They were also awarded Excellent New Technology Prize in April this year.
Just for your information, I got awarded the same Excellent New Technology Prize 17 years ago in 2001.
I am to move to the neighboring city of Takatsuki after this visit to join the get-together for the ex-TOYOBO research workers. I am really looking forward to the both activities tomorrow.
