英検面接委員　STEP interview examiner

実用英語検定試験（通称、英検）2次試験の面接試験官になるためには一定の英語資格が必要です。
資格があっても、現役や退役面接試験官からの検定協会への推薦がなければ申請手続きができません。
先月、名古屋のある有資格者の方からメールをいただき、お互いを理解した上で、この方には必要な手続きをするために来尾いただき、私が推薦状を書くことにしています。
若く有能でやる気のある人が実用英語の発展に関わってもらえることは嬉しいことです。

To be STEP interview examiners, they need to have English qualifications and gain referrals from the active or retired examiners to Society for Testing English Proficiency (STEP).
Early last month, I got a letter of request from a qualified person and we have understood each other well enough for me to make a recommendation for him. 
He visits me in Onomichi next week to finish the necessary procedure.
I am glad that the young, able and motivated persons are involved in the development of practical English.
