初日の出とハカラメ（幸運の葉）の初花　The first sunrise of the year and the first flower of good luck leaf

写真は2017年1月1日、初日の出に映る山並みですが、我が家から北東に見える風景です。
そして、写真枠の花はハカラメの初花です。
このハカラメ（幸運の葉）は2008年に小笠原に旅行した時にホテル・ホライズン（http://www.mmjp.or.jp/hotel-horizon/）でいただいたものですが、9年目で初めて花をつけました。生命力の強い植物ですが、低温には弱く、今年も部屋に入れて冬を越しています。
The attached picture shows the mountain view under the first sun rise of the year on January 1st, 2017, which could be seen from our house.
And the flower in the picture is the first flower of the mother leaf (good luck leaf).
We got it at Hotel Horizon on Ogasawara Islands when we traveled there in 2008 and it has flowered for the first time in 9 years. 
It is a very vigorous plant, but sensitive to the cold so that we keep it in the room during the winter.
