色にまつわる2題　　　Two topics about color

インターナショナルオレンジと染色の思い出：
果物の話題ではありません。塗装の色のことです。
航空宇宙産業では、インターナショナルオレンジを周囲から識別するために使用する、とのことです。黄赤と呼ばれるこの色は身近な例では、東京タワーや金門橋（ゴールデンゲートブリッジ、サンフランシスコ、4回訪問）の塗装などに用いられているとのことです。
なお、これは金属塗料ですから顔料（無機化合物）ですが、同系色のオレンジⅡという酸性染料（添付構造式の有機化合物）があります。
元染色研究者として後者は忘れられない染料の一つです。
International orange and some memory about dyeing:
It is not about the fruit, but painting color.
International orange is a color used in the aerospace industry to set objects apart from their surroundings, and has been used for painting Tokyo Tower and Golden Gate Bridge (visited 4 times) and so on.
Furthermore, it is a coloring pigment (inorganic compound) for metal painting, but I remember Orange Ⅱ in the similar color as an acid dye (organic compound with the showed chemical structure) as a dyeing researcher in my youth.
