吉祥の鳥   Long living happy birds

古来より「鶴は千年」といわれ「長寿を象徴する吉祥の鳥」として、また夫婦仲が大変良く一生を連れ添うことから「仲良きことの象徴」の鳥として「めでたい鳥」として尊ばれてきました。ゲストハウスKTKの部屋に掛けています。

From the ancient time, cranes have been respected as long living birds and happy birds because they are said to live as long as one thousand years and the crane couple live together for life. The guests at Guest House KTK can see the cranes in the room, one is a man-made one used as an ornament for engagement presents in a customary ceremony in Japan.
