小笠原のホテルでいただいたハカラメは冬の寒さには弱く、尾道でも戸外での越冬は無理です。今年も南向きの部屋に入れて6年目の越冬準備に入りました。

Hakarame in Japanese, Kalanchoe pinnata (Lam.) Pers in English, which we got at the hotel in Ogasawara, can not pass the winter outdoors even in our area. So we have them now in the sunny, south-facing room so that they can survive the sixth winter.
