新旧対比　Comparison of the old and the new

私の事務所から車で数分の場所で見られる風景です。古いお寺の上を覆いかぶさるように走っている高速道路です。幼いころ漫画を読んだ後、自分の家の近くを見上げるような道路が走るのを夢でよく見ましたが、これが約60年後の現実で、夢が実現したような錯覚を覚えます。
The attached picture shows the scene of the place a few minutes car drive from my office. It looks as if the newly built highway would cover the very old temple. I often dreamed the same kind of scene in my childhood after reading the cartoon magazines, but it is a real one now.
