孫とラジコンカー　Grandson with a radio control car

年末に帰省した孫（６歳）が大事に抱えていたのはラジコンカーでした。戸外での遊びに付き合いましたが、その走行性能と仕様の良さに驚きました。私が小学生の時、約55年前、のものは笛の音にだけ反応して左にハンドルを切るだけのスペックでした。30年ほど前にラジコンカーブームがありましたが、電池の耐久性、走行性能、価格は今日のものと大きな差がありました。
It was a radio control car that our 6 year-old grandson had carefully in his arms when he came back home at the year-end. I was very surprised at its running performance and other excellent spec when I played with him outside. I still remember that what I had in my childhood, about 55 years ago, could simply turn only left by sensing the whistle sound. I could see big differences even between the ones about 30 years ago during the radio control car fad and the one today.
